About Me


Bio:

Alex is a cinematographer based in Denver, and is focused on documentary productions. He's worked as the MultiMedia editor for Skiing Magazine, as a newspaper photojournalist, and was a founding partner of Gociety, an outdoor adventure social network. 

He focuses on location-based adventure and documentary productions, and has worked on television series, documentary films, commercial and web videos, as well as a wide range of print media and journalism. His debut documentary short film, 142 Miles From Monday, premiered at film festivals around the US and UK, including the Vail Film Festival.

Notable clients have included: CNN Heroes, The Weather Channel, The Wall Street Journal, Billboard, SPIN, Vevo, Jameson Whiskey, Warren Miller Entertainment, Major League Soccer, The Boston Globe, and Comcast. 

As of 2017, he is working on a documentary film series about inequality in American education via the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and is the Director of Photography for American Harvest, the third season of a documentary TV series revolving around farming culture in the American Midwest.
