About Me
Biography:
Alex is a Denver, Colorado based Cinematographer and Documentary Filmmaker with a background in Photojournalism.
I’ve worked as the Multimedia Editor & Staff Photographer for Skiing Magazine, a photojournalist for the Telegram & Gazette, and have held various roles on camera units for Warren Miller Entertainment and CarbonTV.
I'm also the founder of Gociety, a VC-funded outdoor industry startup, which I led for the company’s first three years of operation.
Most recently, my short documentary film 142 Miles From Monday was screened at film festivals in the US & UK.
What I bring to the table is an ability to adapt to challenging situations, think on my feet, collaborate with and inspire my team, and to always end the day with high quality imagery. I believe that the best stories are about people, and I have a knack for making my subjects comfortable on camera.
I'm available for assignments both domestically and internationally.
