'BLOOD TIES' is an hour long episode about the murder of Helene Pruszynski outside Denver, Colorado in 1980. The Douglas County Sheriff's Department cold case unit reopened the case in recent years, and through incredible DNA tactics and police work, were able to solve the murder and make an arrest nearly 40 years to the day after the attack.
